I grew up in a village in Somerset, England. After graduating in Natural Sciences from Cambridge University, I realised that a scientific career was not for me. I felt drawn towards a professional life helping others in a more direct way.
While working in London as a Social Worker, I was introduced to complementary therapies. I started to educate myself about energies, learning about the Chakras and taking courses in Reiki Healing. It was a natural progression for me to travel to India to explore Eastern approaches to spirituality, healing and self-development. There I began to engage more deeply with Yoga and Meditation and also received an initiation into using the Tarot therapeutically.
Returning to the UK I chose to live in the pilgrimage town of Glastonbury. There I took the opportunity to study Colour and Crystal therapies for a year. When those studies were complete I followed a strong feeling to return to Asia.
This journey into the Healing Arts of the past 23 years has taken me into the fields of Meditation, Reiki, Colour and Crystal Healing, Inner Child Therapy, Tarot, Yoga and Massage, as well as to Sacred Sites and natural wonders all over the world. Those pilgrimages have been as important as more formal education in helping to me become a more open channel for healing energies.
I have worked as a therapist and teacher internationally in North America, Asia and Europe. Whatever modality I am working with, I take great pleasure in gently guiding people to experience a deeper, more harmonious level of life. I live with my husband Claude Simard, he is a holistic teacher and therapist from Canada. We first met in India in 2003.
In 2019 I started training to become a teacher of the Alexander Technique at the Alexander Teacher Training School in London, and so the journey continues….
